Scholarship Program
The League of Vermont Writers offers a limited number of scholarships to members who can demonstrate financial need. Scholarships cover the cost of either League membership or a League meeting and are limited to one per year per person.
Applicants should be prepared to provide an in-kind service, such as writing a speaker summary for League Lines or helping with meeting set-up or registration. Failure to meet this requirement may disqualify an applicant for future scholarships.
The decision to grant or withhold a scholarship is made by the board or a designated subcommittee of the board.
